My Birthday in October =)

So, when I went in to get William up this morning, the first thing he does is start singing "Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you!" and pointing at me. He was very emphatic about his pointing too, like he wanted to make sure I knew he was singing TO ME! I have no idea where this came from, all of our birthdays are clustered together in the summer so we haven't really been talking about birthdays at all? So, apparently today is my Birthday, and Halloween tomorrow! lots of holidays, very exciting...

William decided to join me the other morning while I was doing an exercise video! He brought in his shoes and socks for me to put on and then stood next to me and tried to do the video! Luckily it is not a very tricky one mainly just walking in place and kicking, intense, I know...(Leslie Sansone, Walk away the pounds, if you're wondering! Leslie is a good woman, she and I have walked away many a pound together since I've had the boys=)

Praise the Lord! Fall has finally come to the South! After the past month of record-breaking heat (we're talking heat index of 105?!), the temperature drop this past weekend was most welcome! We woke up saturday morning and could not believe how chilly it was outside, so we put on our Fall clothes and headed out to spend the day in the yard.

We loaded up the back of the boys gator with fallen branches...

and then threw them over the fence into the wilderness=)

so here is our stash of firewood for the long, hard Florida winter=) believe it or not, Adam actually chopped all this wood himself a couple weeks ago and we have big plans for the two fireplaces in our house! We've already had a couple fires and it is so cozy!

surprise visit from u. jake

Uncle Jake drove up Saturday morning and surprised us with a fun visit! It had been awhile so the boys were excited to see him, plus he came bearing gifts from his travels so they were pretty stoked about that=) Plastic ocean animals for Noah (always a favorite) and a stuffed sea turtle and Go Diego Go guy for William. Is it bad that he can already say "go diego go"?

by the way, I don't know what is going on with our blog, it's kind of a mess right now and we haven't had time to fix it, so I guess just ignore the many different colors and backgrounds that don't match=)

Chapel Hill

A couple weeks ago we visited the Robinson's in North Carolina so Adam could go to a vet conference and to get some quality cousin time in with Emma. The boys got to go to this awesome dinosaur park the last morning. Noah is really into dino's right now!
