twinkie cake, believe it.

Grandma Z. was just out for two weeks visiting and we celebrated her birthday while she was here. I made a twinkie cake b/c let's be honest, who doesn't like gorging on twinkies every once in a while, especially if you're a pregnant lady=) This is a cake my mom used to make when we were kids and I recently came across the recipe and have been looking for an excuse to make it!

a visit from friends

We had a fun visit a couple weeks ago from some friends of ours from Manhattan, the Madgwicks! The drove up from their vacation in Orlando to see us and stay the night. It was so good for the boys to see some friends, it was kind of funny how they just picked up like we had seen them yesterday=) We had some good quality time, good weather and fun times in the yard! Thanks for coming to visit Phinn and Gigi and spending part of your vacation with us, we miss you guys!
