monday, monday

So, after a busy weekend out and about, I decided that we should just have a cozy monday morning at home today. We went to the beach and the waterpark in one weekend, which just about did mom in (considering I got totally burnt at the beach on saturday, ouch! stupid, I know, but I forgot to sunscreen my back; at least everyone else was covered!)

Noah asks me almost every morning, "what are we going to do today mom" and when I tell him, "nothing, we're just going to stay home and play today", he gets so excited! he is his mother's child=) so anyways, we've had a quiet morning at home, the boys played on the screened in porch (we have an awesome porch for the boys to play in, I know I haven't posted pictures yet, I think I'm waiting till I feel like everything is in order to take pictures, but I probably just need to realize that that is never going to happen and get over it=) then, we watched "curious george", always a favorite, and had some fun with play-doh! all in all a perfect morning, in our humble opinion=)

Yay! we have internet access now, I am so excited to be blogging in my own kitchen=) need to post some pictures!

update, sort of...

well, here we are, still sitting on the front porch to access internet from the clinic. adam's first attempt at acquiring an internet signal inside the house "failed miserably" (in his own words), it involved a pringles can, superglue and some duct tape=) and now we are awaiting our 5 1/2 foot, 15 db, outdoor antennae that will be wired to a secondary router inside the house, that we are hoping will get us some internet!!!!
My parents left last sunday (a week ago) and then tara and tim and grandma b. were here this weekend, so we have been busy, sadly not many pictures to show for it, but we had fun hanging out, swimming in the baby pool (uncle tim got in too=) too bad we didnt' get any pictures of that, and getting bit incessantly by fire ants from our yard. It kind of stinks when you have a 5 acre fenced yard that you can't use without being attacked by angry ants.
and by the way, if you're wondering why we were using a baby pool this weekend instead of the awesome huge pool in our own backyard, that's because we found out last week that they decided to fill our pool in with sand. (for liability reasons) nice... so we're going to get an above ground pool and stick it to the man, we'll put it right next to our humongous sand box. sand volleyball anyone?!

The Sunshine State

The LORD provides! We made it to Florida this past Sunday, without any major incident, the boys did great for the two days in the car, especially considering we hit a major traffic back-up only 30 minutes from Ocala on Sunday and were stuck in traffic for over an hour, not typically good at the end of a long car trip with kids, but they were great, Noah fell asleep and William just entertained himself! Sorry there are not pictures yet, we don't really have the internet situation figured out yet, but we will try and post a video tour of the new house as soon as we can! It is wonderful though and we are having fun unpacking and organizing everything, we've been working pretty much non-stop all week and we still have so much to do. So, that's it for now, we will try and keep the blog updated more often!
