Some pictures from noah's last day of speech at K-state (couple weeks ago). This is he and Miss Tiffany, his speech therapist, who he adores! He has made so much progress this past year, it has been such a blessing for our family to have been in this program. noah was so comfortable with Miss Tiffany right from the first day last Fall, I couldn't believe it actually, I was so proud of him! Recently he and I were talking about how my hair is getting longer, and he thought about it and said "but not as long as Miss Tiffamy's!" Apparently he was a fan of her long golden locks =) !

Will loves climbing and he loves "rocks"! so he was having fun too=)

We got to eat ice-cream outside and play with sidewalk chalk since it was the last day, very exciting!

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness veils his lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil.
On Christ, the solid rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

His oath, His covenant, and blood
Support me in the whelming flood;
When every earthly prop gives way,
He then is all my Hope and Stay.
On Christ, the solid rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found,
Clothed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne!
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

more good-byes!

We had a little bit of a crazy rendezvous at Dairy Queen last night with some friends! We had to say good-bye to our friends, the Coon's, and their sweet boys Berkley and Beckett. We will miss them a lot, so many fun playdate memories! And we met up with our friend Lise, and her two kids Ana Lise and Joaquin. With six kids under 4 and ice-cream things got a little crazy, they were literally running up and down the aisles=) We had fun though!

Seriously, what kind of parent lets their kid do this at DQ? =)

Mother's Day

We had such a fun day today. We went out for breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants here, "Early Edition", for most likely the last time, sniff sniff, (I find myself randomly crying throughout the day as I realize I am doing things for the last time=) We also had our last Sunday at Westview. Noah sang some songs up on stage and it was precious, he did so good. We will miss this church so much, totally blew away my expectations for "a little chuch in the midwest". We have gotten to know some of the most amazing people at Westview and will dearly miss being a part of this church. This is the gazebo outside where we stopped to take a quick mother's day picture=)

Mother's day gifts! c'mon...you know you've seen this on TV and wanted to try it=)

precious pictures the boys made me at school!

The pressure is on...

So...I've been giving out this blog address to ALOT of people lately, seeing as how we are getting ready to leave town in little over a week (!) and I figured that would be a good way for friends to keep track of us. However, that also means that I am feeling like maybe I should kick it up a notch with my blogging (i.e. I will try to update it more than once a month. Crazy, i know...)
So, keep an eye out for more posts and pictures, I may even add a song or two=)

Adam has been gone the past week out in CO, but it has been a crazy busy week and has flown, as I suspect next week will too getting ready for family coming into town and Adam's graduation and party on Friday! Is that really happening?

It's my personal goal with this move to try and have good healthy good-byes with everyone, something I have not been good at in the past. I want to try and thank people for what they have meant to me. The good-byes have already started, I think it's going to be kind of a long drawn out process, but as Vance Maloney (go TU!) once said "the degree to which you allow yourself to experience pain, is the degree to which you can experience true joy in life" or something like that....=)

Tuesday night I had to say good-bye to my small group that I have been meeting with for the past three years! What a feeling of loss, these were some amazing women that impacted my life in many ways. But! I look forward to keeping in touch with them and hearing about the amazing plans that the LORD unfolds in their lives. I will miss you ladies!

ok, more later...gotta go make pizzas with the boys=)
