the first load of sand in the pool...
this isn't the greatest picture, but this is Adam and the boys out on the porch watching the dumptruck bring more sand. The boys were so entertained for three days watching the dumptruck come dump sand and then the backhoe spread it all out. Probably the closest they will ever come to tractors while they are working!
and it's done! it went so quickly! They put sod on the very top and then just seeded the rest of the sand, apparently you can just grow grass in the sand down here, I'm skeptical=) we're sad to see the pool go, but at least it is done, and we're trusting that there is a reason.

What, no beach volleyball court?? Hosed by the man again...
Bummer. But I am looking forward to hearing about grass growing in sand. This is new to me.
