1st time for mini-golf!

We went down to Orlando this past weekend to use up our last two days on our Disney passes. We started out the weekend with Pirate mini-golf on Friday night with U. Jake! (I'm not sure why we have to do this in every picture now, but we do...)

so, I'm crying as I type this (my husband will be relieved to hear that I have a heart when it comes to our dog). I'm so glad I took these pics a few weeks ago, because we finally had to find a new home for our sam-sam. He just never did well with tolerating the boys, as I'm sure most of you know, and consequently was spending most of his life in his cage, it wasn't a good life for a dog. So, for YEARS we have been trying to find another good home for him with family or friends and never found anyone, until a few weeks ago, Adam mentioned at work that we were sending him off to the Italian Grehound rescue society (we were just sick to do that) and one of his co-workers said that she thought her Dad would take him because he was just about to pay $1,000 for an IG down in Texas! So anyways, long story short, her Dad actually came up and got Sam and drove him back down to TX where Sam met his new IG brother in his new home=) It makes us feel so much better to know that he is in a good home with someone who loves dogs and understands about the quirkiness of the IG breed. We'll miss Sammy, but hopefully this next chapter of his doggy life will be filled with lot of walks, trips to the dog-park and rides in this guys side-car that he got for his motorcycle just for his dogs (i'm not kidding) =)

Here are some random pics of Adam and my brother working on the fence in our backyard before we officially moved in. The fence is all done now and wonderful! Yay! I finally have a fenced backyard for my many boys to roam around in! I had to laugh really hard recently at a friends blog when she was talking about how she finds it sexy that her husband is so handy around the house, I totally agree, "just sayin" =)

Wow! Let's just skip the part where I apologize for how long it has been since I've last blogged=) and get on with the good stuff... We're finally moved in to our new house, I guess we have been for a couple weeks now, but we are still in the process of unpacking and organizing and such, but getting much closer to feeling settled! I don't really have any pics yet of the house, but I'm sure there will be some to come... These are pictures of the boys playing outside the library a few weeks ago. Literally every time we go to the library we show up about 15 min. before the doors open, what is it with libraries down here not opening till 10:00! this seems like a ridiculously late time for a public building to open, and you would also think that I would make a mental note of this and remember for the next time, but no. so we had an unexpected gift of 15 min. to run around outside on a beautiful morning=)

The Saturday before we Easter we decided to check out a local egg hunt/easter extravaganza? that I had heard a lot about. It was very local, I'm not sure I should really go into any more description than that? However, it was free and a beautiful day and we had fun=) The boys played on the park first before their hunts.
